The Alpha Impact Charitable Foundation (AICF) promotes scholarship, public health and community service. The foundation recognizes the challenges of rising tuition costs and the financial strain it may cause some families. With this in mind, AICF is pleased to offer the AICF Scholarships to be awarded to selected and qualified applicants.

SELECTION AND NOTIFICATION

​

The Selection Committee will evaluate all applications based on a comprehensive review of each applicant’s academic record, including grade point average, scholastic achievements, and the quality of written materials submitted. Applicants located within the Katy/Cypress area will be given priority during the selection process. Applicants will receive formal notification of the committee’s decision following the completion of the review process. Scholarship awards will be issued within the first month of verified college enrollment, contingent upon receipt of official enrollment verification from the registrar of the student’s institution. All disbursements will be made directly to the designated scholarship recipients upon confirmation of enrollment.

DEADLINE FOR APPLICATIONS

 

APPLICATION SUBMISSION DEADLINE: The application deadline is April 4, 2026.

The application submission window for the 2026 scholarship cycle will open on January 24, 2026. All application materials must be completed and submitted by the specified deadline to receive full consideration. Please note that failure to comply with all stated application requirements or to submit materials by the deadline will result in disqualification from the selection process. Applicants are strongly encouraged to review all eligibility criteria and submission instructions prior to finalizing their application.

How to Apply

All scholarship applications must be completed and submitted electronically through the official AICF online application portal by the designated deadline. Please note that all submissions are final and materials will not be returned to the applicant. For inquiries or additional information regarding the application process, please contact the AICF Scholarship Chairman:


Application Deadline

All applications and required supporting documentation must be submitted no later than 11:59 PM (CST) on Saturday, April 4, 2026.

Failure to comply with the submission requirements or deadline will result in disqualification of the application.


Selection and Notification

Scholarship applications will be evaluated based on the applicant’s academic performance, scholastic achievements, and writing proficiency. All applicants will be notified of the selection results by Friday, May 15, 2026. Scholarship awards will be disbursed within the first month of the recipient’s college enrollment, in accordance with the Foundation’s award distribution procedures.


Essay Prompt:

In a thoughtful and well-organized essay, discuss how your educational and career goals will contribute to positive change in our ever-evolving society, and how they will specifically impact the African American community. Consider how your personal values, leadership experiences, and future aspirations align with the Alpha Impact Charitable Foundation’s mission of scholarship, service, and community empowerment.

Your response should reflect both your individual journey and your broader vision for creating lasting impact.


Essay Requirements:

  • Include full name of each page

  • Word Count: 500–750 words

  • Format: Typed, double-spaced, 12-point font (Times New Roman or Arial)

  • File Type: PDF or Word document
